Historic Commissioning of 4 Navy War Ships by President Goodluck Jonathan in Lagos Today

In line with the ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation's maritime boundaries and territorial waters, President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday Commissioned four newly acquired naval warships for the Nigerian Navy (NN).

The recently delivered four warships NNS CENTENARY, NNS OKPABANA, NNS PROSPERITY and NNS SAGBAMA according to the Naval Director of Information (DINFO), Commodore Kabiru Aliyu t " is unique because this is the first time in the history of the Nigerian Navy that four capital warships will be commissioned at once.
